My group and I are currently working on an exciting project for a family in the Holly Street community. They have resided in this community for over 70 years and have an established presence in this area, so we decided to dedicate a booklet to them. We are designing this booklet to be a source of feeling of home and history for the family to have for years to come.
Inside the booklet will contain a history of the Holly Street community, a family tree, a map of the community, a map of the homes they resided in, and much more. We are thrilled to continue on with this project and honoring this family.
Wow, 70 years! The booklet sounds like a great and innovative way to help the family reflect on their history and see how far they come in a very tangible way. I love it! Good luck on completing that booklet. I can't wait to hear more about how this project was for you guys in your presentation.

ReplyDeleteFrom all the posts I've read on this project it seems so great! I'm interested to see how the book turns out, it's probably too late to suggest but a shutteryfly booklet would have been a nice option as well!
